EMBC and EMBO cooperate with countries and regions outside Europe according to Art. III.3 of the EMBC Agreement:
The Conference may, by unanimous vote of the Members present and voting, establish cooperation with non-Member States, national bodies or international governmental or non-governmental organisations. The conditions and terms of such cooperation shall be defined by the Conference, by unanimous vote of the Members present and voting, in each case according to the circumstances.
